WELCOME TO PC-SLAI ONLINE
The Port Community Savings and Loan Association (PC-SLAI), Inc. was organized in the year 2000. Its Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws, which serve as the general corporate operating guide, was approved by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Securities and Exchange Commission issued PC-SLAI's Certificate of Incorporation dated March 7, 2000, Bureau of Internal Revenue issued its Certificate of Registration on May 11, 2000 and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued its Certificate of Authority on July 18, 2000.
The membership of PC-SLAI is nation-wide, consisting of regular PPA employees, PPA retirees who had been members before their retirement and opted to continue their membership and relatives of members their legitimate spouse, legitimate children 18 years old and above and parents.
The operation of PC-SLAI is under the direct supervision of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas who conducts general audit periodically and evaluates the financial reports submitted to them quarterly. The Board of Trustees ensures that all transactions are in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and standards and the rules and regulations issued by the BSP Monetary Board.
